Ally Watkinson is an arts and culture reporter from Stamford, Connecticut. She covers theater and music and critically examines social media and celebrity culture. Her work has appeared in Charleston City Paper, The NewsHouse and Rochester City Magazine, among others. Ally earned her M.A. in Arts, Style & Culture Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2025, after completing her B.A. in English with a minor in theater from the College of William & Mary in 2023. She loves Greta Gerwig films, devouring romance novels and the feeling of listening to “Green Light” by Lorde.
